Well it is not really causing me nightmares but my IT Band has been the route of a lot frustration. It has been nearly a month now since my right IT band started to flare up. My running over the last week has been reduced to 10k over 3 runs. Not much :(
The one reality is that I have not followed through on all the pointers on how to help heal it up. I was lucky that when my left one flared up it healed quickly through a little foam roller, stretching, and acupuncture. The right one I have not been so lucky.
The one main thing I did not take care of was anti-inflammatory medication and probably should have stuck to a much more regimental stretching routine. In the last couple of days I have increased the stretching and I am seeming to make some progress.
Hopefully soon I will be back out on the roads and the trails.
